Competitive Bid Process
Westring Construction, LLC will also bid from owner supplied plans. Our first meeting can be either be off-site or at the project location and shall include the competitive bid process in depth, expectations, and company process overview, including needs, budget, and scope of work. We would require at least one set of construction ready plans and specifications to competitively bid the project. A site-visit with our preferred trade partners shall occur shortly after our initial meeting. Usually this is a one time visit with all interested trades. We will go back to our office and start collecting bids from our partners and prepare the estimate. We will schedule with both decision makers a second meeting to review the proposal. We will advance to the actual construction/remodeling phase once we are selected and a time frame is determined.

Energy Conservation Services Process
Westring Construction is proud to deliver Home Performance with ENERGY STAR®.

Here's how it works:
A potential customer initiates a Home Performance with ENERGY STAR® evaluation through a Qualified Consultant. We will gladly recommend a Qualified Consultant to perform the analysis and evaluation. The completed evaluation includes a Request for Proposal that the customer supplies to an Allied Contractor. Westring Construction, LLC is an Allied Contractor. To view an example of an evaluation, click here.

The Allied Contractor will schedule a time to meet with you to look at the job and review the scope of work with you. We will then deliver a formal proposal.

After the proposal has been accepted, a start date is determined. Depending on the scope, the work may take more than a day to complete.

After the work is completed, the Westring Construction, LLC performs our own post-test to ensure that the goals and objectives of the program have been achieved.

It is then the responsibility of the owner to schedule a post-test by the Qualified Consultant. The consultant verifies that the air sealing, ventilating, and insulating requirements were met. The consultant completes a form outlining the rebates due you, and within a month or so, a check is sent to you!
